Florida makes it easy to start: no license is required to sell shelf-stable homemade food up to $250,000 a year in sales. Just label everything correctly and keep sales direct to your customers inside the state.

Where you can sell
- Direct in-person sales from home
- Farmers markets & festivals
- Roadside stands
Selling online
In-state online sales with delivery or pickup are allowed; you cannot ship out of state or sell through a third-party retail store

- Business name & address
- "Made in a cottage food operation that is not subject to Florida's food safety regulations" statement
- Ingredient list
- Allergen declaration
- Net weight
