Selling homemade food in New Hampshire
New Hampshire has no cap on sales, but online or shipped sales require a $150 Class H Homestead License - selling unlicensed limits you to in-person sales at home, farmers markets, or your own farm stand. Either way, only shelf-stable foods that don't need refrigeration qualify.

- Foods requiring time/temperature control for safety (TCS)
- Meat and poultry products
- Low-acid canned vegetables
Where you can sell
- Direct to consumer at home
- Farmers markets
- Own farm stand
- Online, shipping, and wholesale (Class H license only)
Selling online
Unlicensed homestead operations cannot sell online, ship, or go wholesale - home/market sales only. A Class H Homestead License ($150) is required to sell online, ship products, or sell wholesale/retail.

- Producer name & address
- Statement that food is not licensed or inspected by the state (unlicensed tier)
- Ingredient list
- Allergen disclosure
- Net weight
