Selling homemade food in Utah
Utah is one of the most permissive cottage food states: no sales cap, a broad list of allowed foods including some items like cheesecake, and online ordering is fine as long as you deliver or the customer picks up in person - just no mailing or shipping.

- Cheesecakes and some perishable items under expanded rules
You can't sell
- Raw meat and poultry products
- Foods requiring commercial refrigerated shipping
Where you can sell
- Direct to consumer
- Farmers markets
- Retail
- Online with in-state pickup/delivery
Selling online
Online ordering is allowed, but the sale must finish with an in-person handoff somewhere in Utah - porch pickup or direct delivery; mailing/shipping isn't an authorized channel

- "Made in a cottage food production operation not subject to state inspection" statement
- Ingredient list
- Allergen disclosure
- Net weight
